Sword Art Online is a MMORPG for PC developed by individuals. Bear in mind, this is not an official project (yet). We develop this game in our free time so do not expect fast game updates or fast servers.  Sword Art Online is supposed to be a VRMMORPG… We aren’t there yet. Virtual reality is still a dream to come, with the Occulus Rift being developed right now, VR might become reality within the next 10 years. So yes, SAO is being developed slow but Occulus Rift is already supported.

If you want to help our project, please head over to gaming-nexus.net. We are looking for SAO enthusiasts and fans alike. Sword Art Online Making Progress For Releasing GGO

The year is 2022, and gamers have lined up on launch day for Sword Art Online, a hotly-anticipated MMORPG that lets players connect to an immersive virtual reality world with special helmets called Nerve Gear. Kirito is one such gamer who's eager to jump back into action, having spent a great deal of time as a beta tester, and quickly becomes friends with newbie warrior Klein. But soon, Sword Art Online's 10,000 players discover that not only are they unable to log out, the only way they can return to their physical bodies is by beating the 100-level tower's final boss - death in the game means death in the real world. Now, with no one else to turn to, Kirito and the other participants must survive the game as best they can

Alright! It is finally here! The current version of the game is 2nd α1.1.0c Credits will be in game once is complete Latest Update 5/22/2013

-bug fix from the first α1.0.2
-system/script fix
-Temporary remove skill level up message. (Will be return into the game later.)
-Few skill damage calculation adjustment. (Some skill when reach higher level is doing way too much damage. while other is still underpowered.)

-Skill damage/eff from monster have minor adjustments. (some skills like monster bite does not do as much damage even a higher floor monster perform it, I made adjustment to change that)

SAOEW OSS Explaination

This is the thread which explain the OSS in the game and how it works
1, Using an Art (Not MP ART) Skill can start OSS combo
2, OSS combo can chain multiple times
3, Skill will have Tier in later update, T1, T2, T3, etc...
4, OSS Skill will have choice on which one you want to perform.

Detail
1, Upon using Art such as Strong Attack, it have a chance of OSS.
2, Window Will show up asking which skill you want to perform. (only the skill you learned that is T1)
3, After making a choice, a scene will pop up and you need to press the key it want you to do. (Such as, ↑ → Z ↑ X Z)
4, If success, Then skill will be performed and if you have higher level OSS then it can be link to T2 Arts.
4.5, If fail, nothing will happen but the cost of the OSS attack (If any) will still apply.
5. If you reach the highest level of OSS then it will stop, if you can preform higher level then it will jump back to step 2.

Sword Art Online Infinity : Moment Release Date

 

Namco Bandai has announced the release date for their new RPG, Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment, which is based off of the anime series.  Coming out for the PSP on March 14, 2013 in Japan, this game is set in a virtual reality massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (VRMMORPG).  The normal version of the game will be selling for 6280 Yen.  There will also be a special first edition limited version with exclusives selling for 9980 Yen.   Goodies hidden in the first edition version include 2 special content DVDs, an original soundtrack CD, a special booklet, a limited edition visual storage box, an original Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment theme for the PSP, and a drawing tutorial by Abec, the illustrator of Sword Art Online.  The game has yet to be announced for countries outside of Japan, and since the PSP is being replaced in favor of the Vita, the chances look slim.  However, we can keep our fingers crossed and keep on hoping!
